These energy balls are so quick and easy to make! They’re a great on-the-go snack as well! As a student, I love having these on hand to grab as a filling and healthy snack before class. It keeps me full, and stops me from munching on the vending machine snacks instead!
Ingredients:
- ½ cup organic whole tahini
- ¼ cup organic maple syrup
- 2 tsp organic cinnamon
- ¾ cup organic quick cooking oats
- ½ cup chopped organic walnuts
- A pinch of pink Himalayan sea salt
- ¼ tsp organic vanilla extract
- ¼ cup organic 70% mini chocolate chip (optional)
Instructions:
Mix the tahini, maple syrup, cinnamon and vanilla well, then add the remaining ingredients. Stir well. Wet your hands so that they are slightly damp, and scoop 2 or 3 tablespoons of the dough into your palm to form into a balls or a cookie shape. Place onto a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Repeat with remaining batter. Bake at 350° F for 10 minutes. Allow to cool for 10 minutes before enjoying.
